Today, the Scioto County Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services team was called to support first responders following a plane crash near the Greater Portsmouth Regional Airport. As emergency crews worked the scene, our EDS team provided hydration and refreshments to help sustain those serving through a long and challenging response.

We are proud to work alongside the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel and emergency management professionals who answer the call when our community needs them most. While each agency serves a different role, we share the same mission: caring for people in times of crisis.

Please keep everyone impacted by today's incident, along with the responding personnel, in your prayers.
