Join us Saturday evening for our public meeting! Starts at 6PM at the side entrance of 1206 Waller St. in Portsmouth, OH. Look for our rainbow sticker in the window!

We are excited to have Elizabeth Legg, occupational therapist and owner of Kidz Connect Therapy joining us to discuss her picky eaters cohort!

Our meetings are completely free and open to the public with a family friendly atmosphere. We have a small library, media room, and play room in the back to allow for safe and inclusive socialization. We also have "busy boxes" available if you would prefer your child to stay at your table with you. Families with children of all ages are encouraged to attend!

We had an amazing day yesterday at our annual Walk for Autism! A huge thank you to all who joined us, volunteered, and donated to make the day such a success!

✨ Silent Auction ✨

Our Walk for Autism is tomorrow!! We are so excited to show off just SOME of the amazing items and baskets from our silent auction! Thank you to all who have donated to our auction, including our kids with their hard work and creativity! Bidding begins at 12PM at the large shelter at Earl Thomas Conley Park and will end at 2:30PM. Winners must be there at 2:30PM in person to claim.

🎉 There will be something for everyone, between Touch-A-Truck, sensory activities, games, giveaways, silent auction, food, Cowboy Mark, AND vendors! You won't want to miss it!

💛 Walk for Autism Giveaways 💛

We will have six amazing giveaways at tomorrow’s Walk! Six lucky kids (including those of all ages with disability) will find a bright yellow ticket in their bag at the gaming tent! Make sure to come down tomorrow to ETC Park from 12-3pm, play some fun games, and see if your child or loved one is “the Canuck with all the luck!” 😉

When you support our nonprofit and events like our Walk for Autism, you make a direct impact on your autism community! Our scout troop, the Adventurers, always have a blast while earning their badges!

They earned their Slime badge, where the scouts experienced creating and feeling all different types of slime. They even ate edible slime (melted marshmallow) and made popping boba drinks! Of course, we had a little fun hunting for objects in shaving cream as well.

The Adventurers also started their Archery badge down at Shawnee State Park Marina! A huge thank you to Ranger Jess for the archery equipment and teaching our scouts how to safely shoot.

We are able to provide these opportunities thanks to our generous community! Consider joining us at our Walk for Autism this Saturday September 26th at Earl Thomas Conley Park from 12-3pm for an amazing day full of vendors, food trucks, giveaways, sensory activities, games, a silent auction, and more!

Wishing to support our nonprofit in our mission to enrich the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families? You can register to walk around the park at our upcoming Walk for Autism! Our event is free and open to all, registering to walk around the park is just another way to donate and support our nonprofit. Online registration link in the comments.

If you have been to our Walk before, please note the change in timing! We usually walk around the park at the end of the event, but are now doing so at the beginning. You can also register in person at the Registration Table from 12-12:30pm, and we will walk at 12:30pm! We will walk along the paved path, roughly a mile long, with shortcut opportunities.

🎃🧡 3RD ANNUAL MOBILE TRICK-OR-TREAT 🧡🎃

It’s that time of year again, families!! 👻

First, we want to say we’re sorry we haven’t been as active this year. We’ve both had SO much going on with new and exciting things in our personal lives, and honestly, this year has just gotten away from us a little bit, you know how time flies!

But we didn’t want that to mean stopping completely!!

So instead, we’re changing things up a little this year!

🎃 We will be accepting ONLY 15 FAMILIES for our 3rd Annual Mobile Trick-or-Treat!

This year, only one of the Two Moms will be delivering, so we’ve decided to limit the number of families we can accept. We want to be able to continue doing this for our special needs families who truly need it without overwhelming ourselves or taking on more than we can realistically handle.

We would much rather serve 15 families and be able to give them our time, energy, and love than try to take on too much and burn ourselves out! We hope you understand! 🫶🏻

This event is specifically for Scioto County children who are unable to participate in traditional trick-or-treating due to a disability, if your child is able to attend a local sensory-friendly or a traditional local trick-or-treat event, we’d love for you to take advantage of those opportunities instead so we can save these spots for kiddos who don’t have that option. 🤍
