From a Toledo Police Officer (not me)

So tonight I took my daughter to Texas Roadhouse. Our servers name was “John”. John was on it. We had bread rolls all night, he was fast, and our food came out perfect. However, at the end of the night I pull out my debit card. He see’s it says “Toledo Police Federal Credit Union” on it. He asks if I’m a police officer. I told him yes, but that I didn’t want a discount, just ring me out and I’ll be happy. Yes, Texas Roadhouse is a big chain, but they need money just like every other business. A few min later he comes back to our table and hands me my receipt. This is what it said. Yes he still gave me a discount, but it’s the words he wrote that meant more. There are a ton of supporters out there. So again, John, thank you for the kind words tonight!!!!

You may hate me because I wear it. But, I wear it with pride. Despite your hate and your anger, I will await the next call for help. And, I will come running without hesitation. Just like the thousands of men and women across this great nation.

Another update. While we want our community safe the Governor needs to get Ohio residents information in a timely manner instead of Statewide confusion.

The lawsuit aimed to delay the primary until June 2 because of concerns over the coronavirus.
