💙⚾ Safe travels and good luck to our Feather River Little League Major Baseball All-Stars! ⚾💙

Tomorrow our All-Star team begins their Section 2 tournament journey, and we couldn't be more proud!

In small communities like ours, it truly takes a village. While these players spend the regular season competing against one another, All-Star season brings everyone together with one goal to represent District 48 with pride.

Our Feather River Major Baseball All-Star team is made up of players from Feather River, Sierra Valley, and Quincy Little Leagues. Different jerseys during the season, but one team when it matters most. The friendships, teamwork, and memories built through All-Stars are what Little League is all about.

To our players, coaches, and families thank you for the countless hours, dedication, and heart you've put into this season.

We wish you all safe travels to Colusa, good luck this weekend, and most importantly, have fun! No matter what happens on the field, you've already made your communities proud.

The journey continues for our Feather River Little League Major Baseball All-Stars! 💙❤️

After capturing the District 48 Championship, our boys are headed to the 2026 Section 2 Major Baseball Tournament to represent our league and our community!

What an incredible week of baseball here in Portola!

Congratulations to Quincy on winning the District 48 Junior Baseball All-Star Tournament and earning the opportunity to advance to the next level. Best of luck as you continue your All-Star journey!

A huge shoutout goes to Intermountain and Sierra Valley for an outstanding tournament as well. Every player, coach, and family represented District 48 with great sportsmanship, determination, and heart. It was a fun week filled with exciting games, incredible plays, and memories these kids will never forget.

What an exciting night of District 48 Junior Baseball here in Portola!

Congratulations to Quincy on tonight's hard-fought victory over Intermountain! Both teams showed incredible determination, hustle, and sportsmanship, making it another great night of All-Star baseball.

⚾️ IT'S GAME DAY IN PORTOLA! ⚾️

Tonight is a big one, and we'd love to see our community come together and fill the stands!

Feather River Little League is proud to host the District 48 Junior Baseball All-Star Tournament, and tonight could be the championship game as Intermountain takes on Quincy at 5:00 PM at Portola High School.

Around here, Little League is about more than baseball. It's about family, friendships, community, and making memories that last a lifetime. It's been a few years since Portola has hosted Junior Baseball All-Stars, and we're excited to welcome everyone to one of the nicest fields in our area. Our volunteers have worked hard to get everything ready, including a freshly groomed infield and a beautiful field that's ready for a great night of baseball!

🌭 Concession Stand Opens at 4:00 PM
🍔 Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers & Hot Dogs
🍕 Gumba's 2 Go Pizza will be available after 5:30 PM (while supplies last).

Whether you have a player on the field or just love supporting local youth sports, come spend the evening with us. Let's make some noise, cheer on these talented athletes, and show our visiting teams what the Portola community is all about!

❤️⚾ It Takes a Village. ⚾❤️

One of the most beautiful things about growing up in a small community is learning that we're stronger together.

During the regular season, our players compete against one another. They wear different jerseys, represent different hometowns, and give everything they have for their local Little League. Every game is filled with excitement, competition, and hometown pride.

But when All-Star season arrives, something truly special happens.

The jerseys may change, but the friendships begin.

Because of the size of our communities, we often join forces with our neighboring leagues to make All-Star teams possible. This year, some of our Feather River Little League players proudly teamed up with Sierra Valley Little League, while others joined with Quincy Little League and Sierra Valley to represent District 48.

Players who were competing against each other just weeks ago are now standing shoulder to shoulder as teammates. They learn to trust one another, encourage one another, celebrate together, and create friendships that will last long after the final out.

That's what makes Little League so much more than baseball and softball.

It's about bringing communities together.

It's about teaching our kids that while we may wear different uniforms during the season, we're all part of something bigger. Together, we represent our families, our hometowns, our leagues, and our entire district with pride.

To all of our All-Star players, coaches, volunteers, and families thank you for the countless hours, dedication, and support you've poured into this season. Whether you're wearing a Feather River jersey or representing one of our combined All-Star teams, know that your entire community is cheering you on.

We are incredibly proud of every player who has had the opportunity to represent District 48. Thank you for showing what teamwork, sportsmanship, and community are all about.

Today's game could decide the District 48 Junior Baseball Champion! Intermountain has the opportunity to take home the championship, while Quincy will be battling to keep their tournament run alive and force a winner-take-all Game 5 tomorrow.
