Busy lives and travel schedules keep our Board from meeting regularly in person, so we are grateful for every opportunity to do so. This week, we met at Stoller Family Estate for a strategy session to map our path ahead. It was a productive day and we can't wait to share more about our plans. Thanks to the team at Stoller for the great space and warm hospitality. 🍇

This month, we shared the Foundation's impact with wine industry colleagues at the Oregon Wine Symposium and the Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA) Annual Meeting.

We also celebrated Board Member Mike McNally of Fairsing Vineyard, who was rewarded with the Philanthropy Champion Award by the WVWA - a much-deserved recognition for someone who goes above and beyond every day to support our community. 🌟

The Oregon wine industry is, at its core, a community. It is built on trust, care, and the skill, labor, and dedication of vineyard stewards and winery workers, many of whom are immigrants or part of immigrant families. Their contributions are fundamental to our region's success and inseparable from who we are.

Recent immigration enforcement actions have deeply impacted members of our community. The Willamette Valley Wineries Association and the Willamette Valley Wine Foundation stand with those affected and remain firmly committed to supporting their well-being, safety, and dignity.

As we reach the end of the year, we want to take a moment to THANK YOU for your support - it makes our work possible. 🧡

Working closely with our community partners, we made some real impact in 2025, including:

- Supporting 16 affordable housing units for agricultural workers at Stratus Village in McMinnville.
- Launching a childcare educator business training program with the city of Independence, Oregon.
- Providing 60 childcare educators with high-quality, bilingual literacy resource kits.
- Licensing more than 20 providers of Family Child Care Homes.
- Facilitating the funding of three student cohorts at Clackamas Community College in bilingual Early Childhood Education and Family Studies.
