Son Jarocho PDX

Son Jarocho PDX Son Jarocho en Portland, OR Son Jarocho PDX is dedicated to learning and sharing the music of southern Veracruz, Mexico.

Started in 2015, this collective offers weekly Son Jarocho workshops and organizes fandangos with other communities in the PNW. Son Jarocho PDX also works to bring master musicians and teachers from Mexico to share their craft and support traditional music on both sides of the border.
