Portland Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Serving the Portland, OR and Southwest Washington areas since 1957 with a mission to enhance the quality of life in the African American community.

The outstanding programming of The Links, Incorporated has five facets which include Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. The programs are implemented through strategies such as public information and education, economic development, and public policy campaigns

One in 3 African-American blood donors is a match for a patient with sickle cell disease. We were happy to support the 21st Annual Blood Drive in honor of the late, great, Dr. Charles Drew!

Dr. Charles R Drew, referred to as the Father of the Blood Bank, he was a revolutionary African American surgeon, educator and scientist who laid the groundwork for today’s modern blood donation program through his innovative work in blood banking.
