Uncap Uncapping plastic bottles across the U.S. and releasing trapped liquids back into the earth. 38 Billion plastic bottles end up in landfills across the U.S.

every year. 80% of these have caps on which stop the contents from evaporating or draining. Uncap currently has volunteers on the streets uncapping bottles found in public garbage and recycling containers. Uncap volunteers measure the contents inside every capped bottle, down to the tinniest drop. 38 billion plastic bottles end up in U.S. landfills every year, every drop counts. The earth is curre

ntly experiencing a fresh water crisis. This means we are using and consuming more fresh water then can be replenished. Uncap believes that a lot of water is being trapped in capped bottles, in landfills or floating in our oceans. This can all change if we uncap our bottles BEFORE we trash. Give our future generations fresh water. Like our page and spread the news.
