Maine Gay Volleyball

Maine Gay Volleyball Pick up volleyball once a week at USM Sullivan gym in Portland 10:00am -1:00pm on Saturdays. Maine Gay Volleyball is a recreational sports group.

Our players come from all over Maine and include men from a variety of ages and backgrounds. All experience levels are welcome! No prior volleyball experience is required, but we do play by the rules. Although we are primarily a gay men's group, we will welcome anybody (girls, too!) who wishes to play with us as long as they respect our safe, supportive and recreational environment. As of JAN 2021

: indoor volleyball is on hiatus as USM’s Sullivan Gym is closed to the public due to COVID. We play indoors From September to May at the University of Southern Maine Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex, 66 Falmouth Street, Portland, Maine 04103. Currently ON HIATUS FROM SEPT 2020-MAY 2021 DUE TO COVID/GYM CLOSURE. We move outdoors for beach volleyball from June to August generally playing Sundays at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough or Ogunquit Beach in Ogunquit. Schedule posted monthly.
