🌹 What a Wonderful Day in Hollywood! 🌹

A huge thank you to the Portland Rose Festival Committee, the Royal Rosarians, the Portland Police Bureau, and the Hollywood Boosters Business Association for helping organize such a fantastic community event today!

The Junior Rose Parade was a tremendous success! With beautiful weather, enthusiastic participants, and a wonderful turnout from families and neighbors, the Hollywood District was filled with smiles, creativity, and community spirit.

It was especially heartwarming to see so many children, families, volunteers, and community members come together to celebrate one of Portland’s most cherished traditions. Events like these remind us what makes our city and neighborhoods so special.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, cheered from the sidelines, and helped make this year’s parade a memorable celebration of community, tradition, and Portland pride.

Aunt Tillie’s Deli hosted all of us afterwards and as always, provided excellent sandwiches, salads and refreshments along with friendly service! Thank you!

Here’s to keeping the spirit of the Rose Festival alive for generations to come! 🌹✨

I’m honored to be representing the Hollywood Boosters Business Association as President during this year’s magical celebration. ✨🌹

This year’s theme is MAGIC, and I can’t wait to celebrate with our amazing community, local businesses, families, and parade participants. Be sure to come out, enjoy the festivities, and say hello if you see me along the route!

The Junior Rose Festival Parade is such a special Portland tradition, and I’m proud to support the energy, creativity, and community spirit it brings to our neighborhood.

🌿✨ A huge thank you to all of the amazing volunteers from the Hollywood Boosters Business Association who came out this morning to help clean and plant the flower pots throughout the Hollywood District!

Your time, hard work, and continued support are truly appreciated as we work together to keep our community clean, welcoming, and beautiful. In addition to fresh flowers and beautification efforts, we also picked up trash throughout the neighborhood to help make an even bigger impact. 🌸🧤🗑️

It’s inspiring to see neighbors and local businesses come together to take pride in our district. Thank you for helping make Hollywood shine! 💚

Had a wonderful and informative luncheon today with members of the Portland Rose Festival as we discussed exciting plans for this year’s Junior Rose Festival Parade! 🌹✨

There are so many fun events happening throughout the day, including a race prior to the parade, celebration festivities for the 100th anniversary of the Burnside Bridge beginning at noon, the downtown city fair, and fireworks at 10 p.m.

One of the most special traditions of the Junior Rose Festival Parade is encouraging children and families to participate by creating their own floats! Decorate a wagon, bicycle, scooter, stroller, or anything imaginative and join in the fun. It’s a wonderful way for kids to get creative, make memories, and be part of a long-standing Portland tradition.

We encourage the community to get involved, participate, volunteer, and come celebrate with us as we make this year’s parade extra memorable! 🌹🎉

Had a great turnout this evening at the Hollywood Neighborhood Association meeting. It was encouraging to see fellow Hollywood Boosters Business Association members, local business owners, and residents of the Hollywood District come together.

Thank you to District Attorney Vasquez, Councilor Pirtle-Guiney and Captain of the North Portland Police Precinct for attending and listening as we voiced concerns about the ongoing weekly distribution of unregulated drug paraphernalia in our neighborhood. These activities are having a negative impact on our community, and it was important to share both our concerns and potential solutions.

We appreciate the open dialogue and the opportunity to be heard. Together, we will continue working toward a stronger, safer, and more vibrant Hollywood District!
