Elizabeth Wadsworth Chapter DAR The first chapter of the DAR in Maine. Local chapter serving the Greater Portland area. Welcome to Elizabeth Wadsworth Chapter of NSDAR.

Organized October 8, 1894 with 30 members and named for the wife of General Peleg Wadsworth, grandmother of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. We serve Maine's Greater Portland Area and beyond. Our meetings are held September through June. Please contact us for more information on our meetings.
