The Peaks to Portland Swim to Benefit Kids is one of the oldest open water swims in the world; since before World War II thousands have braved Maine’s waters to swim the 2.4 miles from Peaks Island to Portland’s East End Beach. April 2, 2014 - Adaptive Services Auction (Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport)
May 18, 2014 - Tri for the Y & Duathlon (at the Casco Bay Branch)
July 12, 2014 - Peaks to Portland Swim (starts on Peaks Island, ends on East End Beach)
September 14, 2014 - Mainiac Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon (at the Gil Boucher Park in Biddeford Pool)

Join Us on the Water - Volunteer Rescue Boats Needed for the Peaks to Portland a Swim for Kids!

Volunteer your vessel for this kids' charity swim event on Saturday, July 26. Safety boat captains needed – each boat gets a lifeguard for support.

Schedule:
- 7:00am – Pickup supplies at East End Beach dock
- 8:30am – First swimmers depart
- 11:00am – Results and awards
Provided:
Supply box with blankets, towels, first aid kit, YMCA flag, and VHF radio (if requested).
Help ensure swimmer safety while supporting kids in our community!
