Gilbert Park PTA is a group of caring caregivers/parents and teachers who support the students and faculty of Gilbert Park Elementary. Our mission is to build bridges between families and school in our culturally rich community. We provide support and resources for teachers to enhance learning opportunities for our children through family-oriented events. We are always looking for new members and

urge all caregivers/parents and teachers to join. Membership dues are $9.50 for the year, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. As a member you vote on how PTA money is raised and spent in the school! It is also a great way to meet other families/neighbors and become familiar with the staff at Gilbert Park.

Hey there GP Otters! Our last meeting is tonight at 7pm! 6:30 light refreshments! We will be discussing our wins for the year, and what next years budget will look like, and of course our wonderful admin updates!
We would love more caregivers to come and share what they would like to see us doing with fundraisers, and how our funds will be spent next year! Please join us this evening! 🦦💕

Our last Dine out night is this Thursday, May 21st at Pizza Baron! Hope to see all of our GP families out for one more night of fun before the school year comes to an end! See you there! 🎉🍕🦦

One more sleep until the big Event!! Tomorrow night is going to be filled with beautiful culture from everywhere! Our students are such an incredibly diverse and lovely mix of young humans! This night we celebrate all of them! Please join us in celebration! 🎉 ❤️🤟

Hey hey GP OTTERS! It is Teacher appreciation week! Let’s give a huge shout out to all of our incredible certified staff members! The care and dedication our teachers show everyday to every student is seen and felt! PTA will be hosting a luncheon in honor of all of the incredible educators at GP tomorrow! Maybe ask your kiddos to write their teachers a note? All the love we can give them all the time is lovely, but especially this week!

May 1st is National School Principal Day! We would like to send a huge shout out to our GP Principal Mr. Nguyen! Always there with a smile and support for our students, staff, and families! If you would like to have your kiddo write a note, or color a picture, we will be celebrating Him on Friday! ❤️

Gilbert Park Families! Please join us for our PCLT/PTA meeting April 14th in our GP Library! Child care will be available ❤️
6:30 pm refreshments, 7 pm meeting starts! We will be discussing our Bingo night event, Multicultural Fair, Teacher appreciation week, dine out nights and more! Admin will be attending with an Admin update, we hope to see you there.

Arts and Crafts Night was incredible! So many families coming together, spending time creating! ❤️Huge shout out to Family engagement committee, Sun, and all of the volunteers that showed up for GP tonight! Grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community! 🦦❤️
