Troop 22 put in some serious work sorting a massive amount of bottles and cans 💪♻️

Proud of the teamwork, focus, and good spirits everyone brought to the task, many hands really do make light work. After a hard work session, we definitely earned those s’mores around the campfire 🔥🍫

Service, teamwork, and a little fun at the end Well done, Troop 22!

🎉 Troop 22 Celebrates a Century of History!

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Portland’s Joan of Arc statue at Coe Circle—and Troop 22 is proud to be part of the celebration once again! Remarkably, our troop also participated in the original dedication of this iconic statue back in 1925, the same year our troop was founded.

On Friday, May 30, 2025, the community gathered to honor the statue, the American Doughboys of World War I, and the enduring Franco-American alliance. Troop 22 is thrilled to continue this tradition, connecting generations of scouts with a piece of Portland’s history.

From the original dedication to today’s centennial event, this statue stands as a symbol of courage, service, and community, values we hold dear in scouting.

❄️🏕️ Snow Camping on Mt. Hood! 🏔️❄️

Scouting Troop 22 had an unforgettable snow camping trip on Mt. Hood! Scouts learned essential cold-weather survival skills, successfully built snow caves, started and maintained a fire in winter conditions, and worked together as a team in a truly challenging environment.

Most importantly, everyone had a great time building confidence, resilience, and memories that will last a lifetime. We’re proud of these scouts for embracing the cold and rising to the challenge!
