On January 19, 2016, Cody Lee Clark took his own life.

A group of us got together and decided to form a non-profit in his memory. That is how "For the Love of Cody" was started. We are in the very beginning stages of starting up this non-profit organization. Su***de can be prevented if you know the warning signs, and proper outreach and support is in place for those individuals who may be contemplating su***de. If we all work together, we can bring ab

I hope to start fresh and involve anyone wishing to contribute any of their time, skills, thoughts & ideas to re-ignite this valuable cause. It was sad not doing the Walk this year. I am so sorry of the neglect to Cody's page. I am working towards healing this devastational pain in my heart & soul. It will be soon, I pray, that this will be a place of healing, hope & salvation for those who have none....RIP Cody, Akio, Yefim, Maddy & the countless other Souls who help us here to navigate this.........

Thank all of you for your sweet responses to my post yesterday, I appreciate them! It truly is amazing that when you open your arms wide, the Universe is there to help you on your journey. This morning I woke up and checked my emails. AFSP sent me one about an event taking place in Salem on February 19th, ironically that is my son Akio's birthday, he would have turned 35. I signed up to talk to legislators about su***de. I won't lie to any of you, I'm terrified!! But, I need to embrace the fear to strive for change,,,Love to All of You!! Wish me luck!
