Maine Youth Network Vision: To Provide Maine's immigrant youth the necessary tools to compete and succeed in life.

Objective:Create stable and effective platform for immigrant youth of Maine to build leadership skills, and strong community relations The main purpose of the MYN organization is to restore hope for the youth of tomorrow and to unite both the parents and youth of the Portland community to help make a difference. We plan to organize events, put together programs to help reach out to the community a

nd to help empower the youth. We plan to get the youth more involved in activities and help change their communities.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped to make this event possible. Without the consistent support we received this would have been impossible. MYN takes pride in being able to bring individuals such as author Shugri Salh, who is nothing short of incredible here in the state of Maine so that they are able to share their work with our communities.
Shugri Salh,thank you for granting us the privilege to host,dine and converse with you.
There is power in sharing our stories and you did us(Somalis) proud. We can not wait to have back in Maine. Special Shout out to SPACE!
