Alliance of Metalheads: Portland is a way for metalheads to gather and to create a community out of all the fellow concert-goers. ( We "know" each other, we all go to the same shows - let's learn each others' names. ) AMP wants to put Portland on the map as a major metal concert destination - no more skipping over us! , share concert experiences, promote local bands/venues, etc.. You don't have to like it, but it's completely unnecessary to bash others' opinions.
