We remove barriers to access and help diverse youth find their voice in activism and community engagement through travel, arts and nature-based projects Wonderfolk is a program to give motivated high school students from low-income backgrounds the chance to participate in our Student Fellowship program, composed of three parts: 1) a 4 month mentor program that prepares our students for 2) a three
week service-learning, cultural immersion program in Panama, followed by 3) a "Bring it Home" service project, where our students take all the leadership and community engagement skills they've learned and implement them in a service project of their own, in their community at home. We do this all free of charge for our students, as we are trying to take money out of the equation as a limiting factor to formative mentor, travel and service opportunities.
