We will be having our next neighborhood association meeting on September 21st beginning at 6:30 PM. There will be a discussion on the ballot measure 26-267 on participatory budgeting with thoughts from Counselor Loretta Smith and Protect Our City Services Campaign.

I've attached the agenda for the meeting as well as minutes from the August meeting.

Our annual dumpster is next Saturday. Time to stop procrastinating and pull together your unwanted treasures and trash. The attached flier has the details on what is accepted as well as location.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MATTRESSES ARE NOT BEING ACCEPTED.
(We didn't learn the vendor couldn't make it until after the flyers were posted.)

This is a free community event but we encourage donations which will be used for future events.

Please consider helping your friends and neighbors if you have a truck.

Our annual dumpster day is only 12 days away. This is an amazing opportunity to clean out some of those unwanted items that have been collecting dust in your homes as well as that big pile of junk in the garage - yes we all have one. And you can bring styrofoam! Unfortunately the mattress recycler can't make it.

This is a free community event but we encourage donations which will be used for future events.

Please see the attached flier for details and MARK YOUR CALENDARS.

In addition to throwing away junk, you can also bring items no longer needed but perhaps useful to your neighbor. We will have a 'free area' for these items for you to r***e through.

If you have a truck, please consider talking with your friends and neighbors as many have no way to get their junk to the dumpster.

We'll be gathering for Happy Hour this Thursday between 4:30 - 6:30 at The Zed located at 5716 SE 92nd Avenue. We'll buy the food, you bring the good cheer!

Due to the July 4th holiday and so many people taking off on vacation, we are cancelling happy hour this month. We hope you have a happy and safe holiday.

As July 4th approaches, please do not set off fireworks. With conditions being so dry, the danger of starting a fire is immense. This is why the city and county issued a burn ban June 15th (https://www.portland.gov/fire/burn-ban-status). In addition many animals are terrified of the noise.
