Our annual dumpster day is getting closer. This is an amazing opportunity to clean out some of those unwanted items that have been collecting dust in your homes as well as that big pile of junk in the garage - yes we all have one. And you can bring styrofoam!

This is a free community event but we encourage donations which will be used for future events.

Please see the attached flier for details and MARK YOUR CALENDARS.

In addition to throwing away junk, you can also bring items no longer needed but perhaps useful to your neighbor. We will have a 'free area' for these items for you to rifle through.

If you have a truck, please consider talking with your friends and neighbors as many have no way to get their junk to the dumpster.

Due to the July 4th holiday and so many people taking off on vacation, we are cancelling happy hour this month. We hope you have a happy and safe holiday.

As July 4th approaches, please do not set off fireworks. With conditions being so dry, the danger of starting a fire is immense. This is why the city and county issued a burn ban June 15th (https://www.portland.gov/fire/burn-ban-status). In addition many animals are terrified of the noise.

122nd street redesign survey /online open house. Submit you response by June 14.

Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is seeking community input for our 122nd Avenue Safe Streets for All Project!

We will be having our next neighborhood association meetings on June 15th beginning at 6:30 PM. The board meets at 6:30 PM and you are welcome to listen but not contribute. The general meeting follows at 7 PM.

I've attached the agendas for both June meetings.

If you can come in person (wonderful!) it will be at Art Soleil located at 5530 SE 122nd Avenue. We will provide refreshments and good cheer.
