Do you have a deck you’ve been itching to build, cards you’re looking to trade, or games you’ve been hoping to play?

Come spend some intentional time with us this Sunday at our cafe from 10am to 2pm to do all of the above.

Whether you play Magic: The Gathering, PokΓ©mon, or another TCG, bring your binders and deck boxes to build, trade, and play.

Get your mains ready! This Saturday, June 20th, we’re hosting another Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament on Nintendo Switch!

Only 20 slots are available (spectators are welcome)β€”RSVP now through the link in our bio to secure your spot on the bracket. If you don’t want to participate in the tourney, come enjoy the vibes and some dinner as well as free play at the end of the evening!

*Please RSVP only if you’re playing in the tournament and are certain you can attend. No-shows will affect the bracket. Spectators do not have to RSVP*

With the help of our club leader Christy , Friends Share is hosting our next Writing Club meeting on Tuesday, June 16th from 6pm to 9pm.

For June, we’ll be diving into the world of the β€œshort short story”: flash and micro fiction. We’ll examine the various techniques that writers use to make their words go farther under the constraints of a limited word count. Using examples from flash fiction authors like George Saunders and Lydia Davis, we’ll discover how to create brief narratives that draw us in and leave us wanting more.

We started Friends Share Writing Club out of our shared love for language and the art of self-expression. This is a space to write freely, experiment, explore, learn from one another, and connect with friends.

Join us Saturday, June 13th, for Open Mic Night at Friends Share!

Sign-ups at 5pm, with performances kicking off at 6pm.

We’ll have a keyboard, acoustic guitar, and microphones ready to go, but bring along anything else you’d like to share your music, poetry, or creative expression. We’ll take a few short breaks throughout the night.

Come hungry and thirsty, there’ll be plenty of food and drinks to keep you fueled.
