The Art Lit Coordinator works with class parents to prepare materials and learn about an artist. The class parent then takes that knowledge and teaches the class about the artist and works with them to recreate one of the artists' works. The art lessons have already been purchased and we need a coordinator to help us execute them. If you have any questions or this interests you, please contact us via DM or email [email protected].
🎨 Position description:
The Art Lit Program Coordinator shares three prepared lessons and art projects from October-April. This “hands on” program teaches kids how to appreciate and enjoy art through exposure to a wide array of artists and art mediums including paint, pastels, clay, graphite and mixed media. Just like math or science, art literacy is a discipline in which skills are built upon each year. Art Lit enlarges our students’ ability to express themselves through their own artistic creations – and it’s a whole lot of fun, too! Our PAC generously provides funding for the lessons and project materials.
