The 2017 NW Book Festival is upon us!

7/29/17 from 10:00 - 4:30 in Downtown Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square

Come out and show some support for your favorite authors!

Greetings one and all,

This is the official call out, requesting volunteers for the 8th Annual NW Book Festival being held Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10AM to 4:30PM at Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland. We need volunteers in the following areas:
• Day of the Festival-assisting at the 9 Bridges Booth:
o (4 People)
• Load In – Supervise vendors as they arrive on the square, directing them where their spaces are, etc.:
o (4 People)
• Load Out – Supervise vendors at the end of the festival on the square, directing them out, policing the square at the end to pick up any misc. left over trash etc.:
o (4 People)
• Hospitality - Hand out swag, nametags, nameplates to each registrant.
o : (1 person)

What do volunteers get for helping out?
• A free 3 hour block in the 9 Bridges Authors booth to display and share your book (s).
• The knowledge that you are helping an organization whose soul purpose is to assist authors on their journey.

What’s required to be a volunteer?
• Flexibility
• A willingness to help out.
• A minimum 2 hour time commitment but may vary depending on assignment.
