🎉 Big wins for Oregon health care! Governor Tina Kotek signed three landmark bills this week. The new laws include HB 4088, strengthening Oregon's "shield" law for providers of reproductive and gender-affirming care; HB 4127, ensuring uninterrupted coverage for Oregon Health Plan patients using Planned Parenthood; and SB 1598, expanding access to vaccines and requiring insurers to cover recommended immunizations at no cost to patients.

The Oregon Pediatric Society, along with 232 organizations, issues the following statement in support of American Academy of Pediatrics' 2026 childhood immunization schedule:
“Today, our organizations are coming together to champion the best interests of children in the United States by showing our support for the 2026 American Academy of Pediatrics Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule. We urge parents who have questions about vaccines to talk with their child’s pediatrician or clinical care team.”
