Hello All,
We are looking forward to the upcoming January 2027 mission trip to Honduras and hope many of you have been in prayer about joining us. Dates for the January 2027 trip will be January 15 - 22. Trip fees are tentatively set at $1,700 per person. We are optimistic at this point that hotel, airfare and food prices will not increase appreciably between now and January, but if they do, we may have to increase trip fees a bit to cover extra expenses. At this time we expect trip accommodations, meals and transportation to be similar to last year's trip.
In order for us to formally put you on a tentative list for January 2027 we will need to get a minimum of a $100 non-refundable deposit from each person along with a set of completed trip forms - see links below (we only need the minor travel permission form for minors). We also need a copy of the photo page of your passport. In order for us to purchase a plane ticket for you to lock in a spot for the trip we will need at least an $850 deposit. Final trip fee balance of $1,700 total will be due by October 15, 2026.
If you plan to purchase your own airline ticket, your trip fees to MTMO will be $1,000. We still need a minimum $100 nonrefundable deposit along with completed trip forms/passport copy as noted above to put you on the tentative team list. Final trip fee balance is due by October 15, 2026, to confirm your place on the trip. If you choose to purchase your own airline ticket, please check with me to confirm your proposed travel itinerary prior to purchasing your ticket. Also, please forward me your airline itinerary after purchasing your plane tickets.
As a reminder: Trip fees spent on airline tickets that MTMO purchases are non-refundable, and you will own your airline ticket after we purchase it. If you have to cancel your trip, you will be responsible for working out whatever credit may be available to you from the airline. We normally purchase airline tickets with a refund option that goes back to a future travel credit. The amount of credit after canceling a ticket is solely up to the airline's discretion and policies and you should usually expect that if a credit is granted toward future airline ticket purchases the value is usually worth a good bit less than the original purchase price.
We have several evangelistic, drinking water, house construction and other ministry opportunities in the works for January, so we could really use at least 20 - 30 or more people for this trip.
