This website was initially created in 2009 by The Center for Volga German Studies at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. We are grateful to Concordia University for its generous support of the site for over 10 years. The university closed in April 2020 and the physical collection of materials was transferred to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are thankful to the many people who have donated their time, talents and contributions to make the website a content rich resource for those interested in this ethnic group.
