We haven’t hosted any events in a while, and it’s with a very heavy heart that I make this post.

My Shriyomee has passed away. Tomorrow, we hope to honor and celebrate her life at 6:30p at Santé bar in downtown Portland

It’s that chilly time of year where we just wanna get cozy and read all the classics.

So today, we read the story about everyone’s favorite, scrappy bear named Corduroy. Corduroy is written and illustrated by Don Freeman.

This storytime is a part of the Stay Litt’s Listen Up series. A project featuring stories with children of color as protagonists and heroes. Although some stories feature non-humans, all the books are written or illustrated by an author of color.
