Resident Residency

Resident Residency Resident Residency invites artists to focus on where they live and work by participating in their neighborhood associations. www.residentresidency.org

Resident Residency proposes value in artists staying home to focus on where they live and work, inviting them to participate in their neighborhood association meetings as catalysts for participatory public artworks, and to broaden understanding of their own neighborhood context through trainings and public conversations throughout the city. Resident Residency's artists for 2014 are Katy Asher, Krista Connerly, Mack McFarland, Khris Soden, and Linda Wysong.

Status Update: We're putting the finishing touches on our publication documenting the works and ideas of Resident Residency's first year. We plan to have the document early December, and host a Publication Launch Party and panel discussion in early 2015. Let us know if you have ideas for an institution or organization that might want a copy of the book, and keep an eye on this page for information about our Launch Party.
