5 Ways Catholics Can Include Their Faith in Estate Planning ️

Estate planning is more than preparing for the future—it can be an opportunity to put your faith into action.

Here are five ways Catholics can make their faith part of their legacy:

1. Leave a gift to your parish — Support the Church that has been part of your faith journey.

2. Support Catholic ministries — Include schools, charities, vocations, or other ministries close to your heart.

3. Establish an endowment — Create a lasting gift that supports a Catholic ministry for generations to come.

4. Name a charitable beneficiary — Consider including a Catholic organization in your will, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.

5. Pray about your legacy — Ask God to guide you in using the blessings entrusted to you to strengthen His Church.

Your faith can live on through the legacy you leave behind.

SAVE THE DATE- on Giving Tuesday – Tuesday, December 1, 2026

The Catholic Foundation of Maine is proud to announce that, for the first time, a Catholic organization in Maine will participate in —the U.S. Catholic Church's official Giving Tuesday initiative.

is a national day of generosity that unites Catholic foundations, parishes, schools, and ministries across the country to celebrate faithful stewardship and inspire charitable giving.

This inaugural initiative is an exciting opportunity to build a culture of generosity across Maine inviting donors to make a lasting impact by supporting Catholic ministries through existing endowments or helping establish new ones.

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 1, 2026, and join us as we make history by bringing to Maine.

Give Thanks. Give Back. Give Catholic.
