Mikaela Ziobro attended the Kennebec Valley Chamber Women's Luncheon, where JA Maine Business Hall of Fame alumna Laurie Lachance shared reflections on retirement, "If I Knew Then What I Know Now."
Her message was a powerful reminder that health, family, and relationships matter most, and that true success comes from being present and appreciating the moments that shape our lives.
As a JA Maine Business Hall of Fame laureate, Laurie exemplifies the kind of leadership, character, and perspective we hope students will carry into their own futures. By sharing the stories of Maine's most accomplished leaders, the Hall of Fame helps young people see the possibilities for building meaningful lives, impactful careers, and lasting legacies right here in Maine.

Inspire students in Lewiston and Auburn to see the career opportunities available to them in Maine!
Program Manager Mikaela Ziobro presented at Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce's Brewing Connections last week, highlighting the impact of Junior Achievement and the growing need for volunteers in the Lewiston/Auburn area.
With spring programming continuing to expand, the event provided an opportunity to build awareness, strengthen community partnerships, and recruit volunteers to help meet increasing demand from local schools. Reach out to Mikaela with questions or interest: [email protected].

Our Senior Program Manager, Jesseca Steele, is celebrating her third anniversary with JA Maine, and we're so glad she's part of the team.
In reflection of her time with the organization, we asked her what her biggest takeaway has been this past year: "One of the most impactful takeaways from the past year was attending the Junior Achievement Experiential Learning Center Summit in Ft. Wayne Indiana. I met inspiring colleagues from across the country and had the opportunity to step into the shoes of a student for a firsthand experience of JA Biztown and JA Finance Park. Seeing an ELC through student eyes reinforced the powerful impact that Junior Achievement programs provide. I am excited to bring this experience to students in Maine!"
