Global reach with community impact.
JA Maine received funding from the Taco Bell Foundation in support of our 2026 JA Titan Challenge. With their partnership we were able to impact 34 Schools, 384 students, and engage 169 mentors from the community.
The JA Titan North and South Champions were also able to compete nationally, with our JA Titan North students from Caribou High School placing second.
This is impact in action and we're grateful to the Taco Bell Foundation for helping make it possible.

A thriving state is built through intentional partnerships between education, business, and community. Camden National Bank exemplifies this partnership, investing financially in JA Maine’s mission AND empowering its employees to volunteer in classrooms across the state.
With a $10,000 investment, their commitment helps students build skill sets and mindsets that empower them to envision choice-filled futures, and see themselves as future leaders.
This kind of collaboration ensures Maine’s next generation has the skills, confidence, and vision needed to lead and succeed - right here at home.

Thank you to our Tournament Sponsor of the Katahdin Trust Golf Classic Benefitting JA Maine.
.
In the 2025-2026 school year, with funds raised from this tournament and Katahdin Trust's support JA Maine was able to engage 695 K–12 students in Caribou, Fort Kent, Easton, Hodgdon, Presque Isle, Van Buren, and beyond with JA learning experiences this year, led by dedicated community and business volunteers. Over fifty of those students from five schools participated in the JA Titan Experience. All students were able to develop workforce skills and entrepreneurial mindsets through hands-on experiences.
Thank you Katahdin Trust Company for helping the next generation turn potential into opportunity. Learn more about the Katahdin Trust Golf Classic >> https://maine.ja.org/events/katahdin-trust-golf-classic

The JA Titan Southern State Champions were featured in a piece in The Portland Press Herald, and demonstrated the qualities that make Maine an incredible place to build a life and career, and a state filled with such admirable people.

Patrick Wande grew up in Nigeria, attended school in India, received his undergraduate degree in Indiana, and currently resides in Maine. With his global perspective, what Patrick appreciates most about the state is its tight-knit feel.
As a first-time JA Maine volunteer, Patrick felt this same spirit at the JA Titan Challenge. Encouraged to volunteer by his employer, Bangor Savings Bank, Patrick appreciates the bank's commitment to its community.
"JA Titan opens doors and expands what young people believe is possible for their future. I like being a resource for people and Bangor Savings Bank commitment to its community and the experience with JA Titan allowed me to be just that.”

Each JA Job Shadow experience represents a meaningful touchpoint between industry and education, helping students make informed decisions about high school coursework, postsecondary plans, and long‑term goals.
Central Maine Power hosted Scarborough Middle Schoolers; giving them a first-hand look at the opportunities available to them when they graduate, and planting the seeds for a strong workforce pipeline for their hiring needs over the next decade.
