2022 Distinguished Alumni Community Engagement Award honoree Dr. Tamara Chang '99 was recently included in the TEDxCherryCreekWomen event. As Tamara says, "My Why in doing this talk was to help others feel seen, validated, and less alone -- and perhaps to even help save lives. I focused my talk on women doctors, as this is my own personal experience, but there is much that is about the silent struggle of doctors, of all genders. This truly was a labor of love, and I hope it inspires others to come forward, share their own vulnerable stories, and empower all of us to make the changes we know are so desperately needed in healthcare -- for physicians of all genders, and for all healthcare workers regardless of our role."
