This year, the Department of Labor is not recognizing Women in Apprenticeship Day as part of National Apprenticeship Week, but that doesn't mean that we can't!
Oregon has some of the highest numbers of women in apprenticeship across the country at 10%, compared to the national average of 5%, and we are proud to be contributors to that statistic.
More women in apprenticeship means that more women are welding, wiring, building, and leading. Every day, they are proving that apprenticeships are a pathway to high wage, stable careers.
Join us today in highlighting the power of women in apprenticeship by sharing your stories and tagging Oregon Tradeswomen, or by reposting stories of tradeswomen that you see online.
We will not be erased!
