Vasa Youth Group Swedish Dancers

Vasa Youth Group Swedish Dancers Swedish Folk Dance Group for Children in Portland, Oregon The Vasa Rosebuds are a children's Swedish Dance group based in Portland, Oregon.

Our dancers range in age from 2 years to 18 years. We practice 2-4 times a month with performances mainly in December and June. Our dancers are from the entire Portland metro area as well as SW Washington. Both boys and girls are welcome to join and we accept new members at any time. For more information, please email us. ction City. And recently we’ve traveled internationally to dance and participate in Midsummer celebrations in Sweden and Canada. In December we participate in ScanFair in Portland, featuring our dance performance and our Lucia pageant. Additionally, we have performed at Rose Festival events, participated in the Junior Rose Festival Parade, and danced at many other local multicultural celebrations. We also performed at the Grand Opening of IKEA in Portland a few years ago.
