Today we commemorate Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history that marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates the enduring pursuit of freedom, equality, and opportunity.

Juneteenth is a reminder that progress is achieved when communities come together, raise their voices, and participate in shaping a more just future.

At the League of Minority Voters, we honor the generations who fought for freedom and recognize our shared responsibility to protect and strengthen our democracy through civic engagement.

As we celebrate this day, let us recommit ourselves to the ideals of liberty, inclusion, and equal opportunity for all.

This Women’s History Month, we honor the women who fought to expand participation in American democracy. From the suffrage movement to the Nineteenth Amendment, their courage reminds us that the right to vote has always required persistence and stewardship. Today, conversations around proposals like the SAVE Act highlight the continued importance of protecting both the integrity and accessibility of our democratic process. Democracy is strongest when participation is broad, informed, and protected. ✔ Check your voter registration ✔ Confirm your documentation ✔ Stay engaged in civic dialogue Together we can ensure every voice is heard and every vote counts.
