Empowering and celebrating communities through live outdoor musical performances. The result is a mobile stage that can bring music to outdoor settings.

SoundsTruck NW is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Portland, Oregon, founded by two professional classical musicians, Jon & Yoko Greeney. Amidst the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Jon & Yoko reimagined the concert experience for maximum flexibility, resiliency, and access. SoundsTruck NW is dedicated to expanding the reach of the performing arts by delivering engaging, family-friendly concerts that embrace diverse cultures and showcase an extensive array of musical genres to communities of all backgrounds.

Celebrate fall at Lents International Farmers Market with SoundsTruck NW® as we bring our final Market Tour stop of the season to the community! Wander the market, enjoy live music, and explore how music, food, and creativity bring people together. From an electric violin performance and a cross-cultural musical journey to a hands-on fermentation demonstration and jazz shared across generations, there’s something to listen to, learn from, and enjoy.

SoundsTruck NW® is excited to partner with Montavilla Jazz Festival again this year, bringing our mobile stage to the Montavilla neighborhood for a wonderful weekend of live jazz.

SoundsTruck NW presents a free, all‑ages Piano Day celebration at Pioneer Courthouse Square on Sunday, March 29, in partnership with Portland Piano International. A key feature this year is Community Piano Share—A highlight of Piano Day is the rare opportunity to hear internationally acclaimed Italian pianist Filippo Gorini .pianist , presented by Portland Piano International .

Once again, we’re bringing our mobile stage to the Portland Winter Light Festival—a winter gathering that connects neighbors and supports local artists.

SoundsTruck NW will bring our mobile stage near the World Trade Center Plaza on Friday, Feb 13 and Saturday, Feb 14, helping power this free public festival in downtown Portland. Come experience the light, music, and community.
