We owe a big thanks to the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability for sponsoring a "We are Portland" exhibit in the lobby of the 1900 Building (1900 SW 4th Ave). These beautiful Plywerk prints will be on display until Jan. 17th!

When I think of Portland, I see androgynous hipsters in denim, drinking fiery espressos under grey skies. However, My Story, a Portland-based mobile arts organization, is changing that picture for me.

Check out these photos from our "Family Portrait Day" with the Bhutanese Youth of Oregon. We had a huge turnout for free family portraits, traditional food, and some amazing dances from our students!

We forgot to mention that there will be a photo show at Saturday's Mill Park portrait shoot! Come out to Mill Park between 10:00 and 1:00 to see the Bhutanese Youth of Oregon run our mobile community portrait studio!

Do you want to see a "We are Portland" community portrait shoot in action? Come out to Mill Park on June 1st to see students from Bhutanese Youth of Oregon photographing their families, friends and neighbors. There'll even be traditional dances from a few of the girls in our class! We'll be there from 10:00am-1:00pm.
