Greetings Portland Magic enthusiasts!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer! It was a HOT one, and it certainly had more than its fair share of challenges. But as the weather begins to cool and the days begin to get shorter... I don't know about you, but MY thoughts begin to turn to thoughts of MAGIC!

Our first meeting since the summer break will be held on SEPTEMBER 14th at 7pm at the OSS clubhouse (4828 NE 33rd Ave, Portland, OR 97211)

This meeting will be a memorial and celebration of life for our dear friend, past president and current vice-president, Aaron O'Neil, who, as you may know, died in an untimely manner early this summer. Aaron was a genuine bright spot in the Portland Magic Community, and it is only fitting that we pay our respects to his memory at the Portland Society of Magicians.

Light refreshments will be served, please feel free to bring a pot-luck dish if you so choose: Aaron was a lover of culinary delights, as well as a talented magician, and I feel that it is fitting that we honor him by celebrating good food as well. He would have appreciated this!
