💔 OUR CAMPERS NEED YOU.
Last week, hazardous wildfire smoke forced Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp to cancel an entire week of summer camp. For our campers, camp is often the highlight of their entire year. It’s a place where adventure, independence, friendship, belonging, and pure joy are accessible to everyone.
The cancellation also created a financial loss of more than $100,000 in registration fees and other expenses. Because our summer season is only eight weeks long and operates at full capacity, those funds cannot be recovered.
Camper registration fees cover just 40% of the true cost of our program. The rest comes from generous donors like you.
We need your help. ❤️
A gift of any size will help us recover from this unexpected loss and ensure we can continue providing the high-quality, accessible camp experience our campers deserve.
