Rest in peace Dr. Bethel. 🙏💜

Rest in Power, Rev. Dr. T. Allen Bethel.
The Imagine Black family is beyond saddened to hear of the passing of Rev. Dr. T. Allen Bethel.
Our condolences go out to Rev. Dr. T. Allen Bethel’s family, the community, and the congregation of Maranatha Church, Portland as we mourn this significant loss.
Words can't describe the magnitude of impact felt from his service and mentorship. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to learn and build alongside him for many years. Not only did Dr. Bethel help establish our organization, but he also co-led our organizational restructure in 2018. He was a man with a big vision and a loving heart to match.
Thank you, Rev. Dr. T. Allen Bethel, for teaching us to be brave, to serve the Black community with intention, and for helping us reclaim our power. You will be missed.

We, at PreSERVE Coalition, have unexpectedly lost our beautiful and fearless leader, co-founder and co-chair, whose work in brain health in the African American community helped shape our mission and support families in our community and at large. To say we will miss her love, support and leadership, is an understatement. We want to provide the funeral service information here for those who worked with and loved her. 🙏❤

Location: Havurah Shalom 825 NW 18th Portland Oregon at 11:00 am this Sunday, July 8, with burial to follow at Havurah's cemetery, at 5656 SW Humphrey, in Portland.

Remembrances can be sent to the organization that was so important to Linda, GreenEmpowerment.org.

When your aging parent outlives her money, you have decisions to make. Should you have her move in? Support her care? Learning about their limited choices is sobering for low income elders. Boomers can avoid the pitfalls your parents make with good long term financial planning for yourself.
