Join MANA and Portland Gear Hub for an evening of community, connection, and cycling!

Whether you’re brand new to biking or looking to build confidence riding in Portland, this event is for you. We’ll be giving away bikes, sharing bike safety tips, exploring city riding skills, and enjoying a community ride together.

This is about more than bikes it’s about access, mobility, wellness, and creating opportunities to get outside and explore our city together.

The end of a program, the beginning of a journey. 🎓✨

Last week we gathered to celebrate another incredible year of and to honor the seniors who are stepping into their next chapter.This program has never been just about activities. It’s about helping young people discover who they are, what they’re capable of, and who they can lean on as they navigate life.

The celebration gave us the opportunity to honor our graduating seniors and celebrate every young person who showed up, took risks, supported one another, and grew throughout the year.

To our seniors: thank you for leaving your mark on this program. We can’t wait to see where your journeys lead next.

And to the rest of our GOALS family this is only the beginning.

Last week we launched the first cycle of MANA’s Brotherhood Group with a night of bowling, laughs, and connection. While the scoreboards kept track of strikes and spares, what mattered most were the conversations happening between frames.

This group was created to give young men a place to be seen, heard, challenged, and supported. A place where mentorship meets friendship and where community becomes family.

We’re excited for what this group will grow into and grateful for every young man who took the first step through the door. 💙🤝

This weekend our Elders gathered in the beauty of for a retreat filled with laughter, rest, movement, storytelling, and community. 🌲🤍

From peaceful walks along the river to shared meals around the table, this weekend reminded us how important it is for our elders to have spaces where they feel connected, celebrated, and cared for. Many of our elders come from cultures where community and togetherness are at the center of life — and creating those moments here in Maine matters deeply.

Programs like are about more than getting outside. They are about reducing isolation, honoring our elders, creating belonging, and making sure our communities continue to thrive across generations.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend possible and to our incredible elders for bringing so much warmth, wisdom, and life wherever they go. 💚

Together, we’re building spaces where youth can explore, connect, lead, and belong. From hiking trails and conservation learning to community building and unforgettable memories, this collaboration is about more than getting outside — it’s about creating opportunities, confidence, and connection.

Such a beautiful weekend in the White Mountains 🤍

We spent two full days hiking, laughing, resting, and just being together. From the trails to the table, every moment felt grounding and needed.

As always, we love our friends at the Notch Hostel—the space just creates its own kind of magic every time we’re there.

There’s something special about getting away and creating space to connect with ourselves and with each other. No pressure, just real time, real conversations, and a lot of joy.

Happy Earth Day! Thank you for coming outside with us! 🌎🌿

For many of our communities, being outside is more than recreation it is memory, culture, grounding, and belonging. Earth Day is a reminder to care for this land, to honor its beauty, and to keep creating spaces where our elders, youth, and families can connect with it and with each other.

Home is more than four walls , it’s what happens when community shows up. 💛

We’re so grateful for this beautiful group of Welcoming the Stranger volunteers who came together to help one of our participant families move into their new apartment. From lifting boxes to making the space feel a little more like home, this is what care in action looks like.

So much of welcoming is in the small and mighty things showing up, carrying what’s heavy, and reminding each other that no one has to do it all alone.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and heart. This is community. This is belonging.
