BLD PNW (B Corp Leadership Development - Pacific Northwest) is the largest B Corp-centric gathering in the Pacific Northwest. By providing a unique opportunity for inspiration and connection, we build a stronger movement to use business as a force for good. In 2020, our fourth annual conference will be shifting to a virtual event with intentional opportunities for engagement and connection with our B Economy community. The two-day event will take place on October 14-15th and will be open to anyone, anywhere.
For the past four years, BLD PNW has been the premier professional development and networking event for the local B Corporation business community. The B Corp model has become a global movement of companies using business as a force for good. Over 3,500 companies around the world have committed to rethinking traditional capitalist business models in order to balance people, planet, and profit.
Our conference theme this year is Re-BLD ("rebuild"), and our gathering will bring together a diverse group of professionals and practitioners to educate our community and facilitate conversations about how we reimagine a better community, recreate a better world, recalibrate our business models around equity, and rebuild a more inclusive economy. We believe that as a community must do better, we must hold each other accountable, we must keep learning, we must get to work, and we must not delay.
