One of Oregons's finest Airmen and new Recruiter, SSgt Tori Luxem, her husband Chris, and two boys Warrick and Ronan are in critical need of community support.
On July 2nd, Tori started feeling off, and after going to the ER, she was admitted to the hospital near her home in Longview, WA. Her conditioned has significantly worsened, and she is now in and ICU in Vancouver WA. Her medical team has been able to stabilize her, but her condition remains critical and unfortunately answers about her recovery and a long-term prognosis are still unclear and out-of-reach.
Chris, has taken leave from work to manage her care and coordinate support for their family, which includes their 2 year-old son Warrick, their 3 month-old son Ronan, 3 dogs and 5 chickens. Chris is supported by several family members in his effort to provide consistent care for their two boys and animals, however, there are some critical needs that have arisen. The Recruiting Team and Military & Family Readiness are turning to this community to ask for your help to source solutions for those that are the most pressing currently.
