Join NWTA and Portland Parks & Recreation on Saturday, October 17, for a dig day on Newton Trail in Forest Park.

We’ll tackle rock work, improve drainage, and address creek-crossing challenges to help keep this trail sustainable for years to come.

At our fall planning meeting, we celebrated six Trail Builder Award recipients whose dedication made a lasting impact on trails at Rocky Point, Klootchy Creek, Sandy Ridge, Cascade Locks, and beyond!

We also brought together 35 volunteers, sponsors, and NWTA leaders at Chris King Precision Components to celebrate the past season and prepare for the next.

EasyCLIMB trail system was bustling with kids of all ages and their families this past weekend in celebration of National Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day!

The day’s activities gave kids a chance to experience all that makes mountain biking special: engaging with nature on spectacular trails along the Columbia River, making friends to ride with, eating good snacks, and practicing riding skills.

The entire day saw over 180 people and countless smiles in attendance!

This is the 7th year the Trail Sisters have gathered at Falls Creek!

This area never disappoints, and Autumn in the Gifford brings delightful dirt and color. The previous day’s rain made for good dirt and kept us on our toes riding the slick morning roots.

Every rider showed up with a sense of adventure and ready to challenge themselves.

Our rule for the day: No Apologizing!

Our Green Geckos crew spent the week building confidence, sharpening skills, riding trails, tackling the pump track, and progressing at their own pace.
