🍁As we all settle into cozy fall evenings, we have a listening experience of virtuosic Baroque music for you!

📻On Wednesday, October 7th, Maine Public Classical will air an “encore” broadcast of our 2026 Festival Finale: Bach’s Coffee Cantata – Good to the Last Note.

☕ Originally performed on June 23 at USM’s Crewe Center for the Arts, this engaging program blends humor, storytelling, and dazzling musicianship, featuring instrumental works by George Frideric Handel and Domenico Scarlatti, as well as Bach’s jovial “Coffee Cantata” and an incredible Brandenburg Concerto #3.

Tune in for an evening that is as rich and satisfying as your favorite blend of coffee!

⚡We are still buzzing with excitement and energy from our week at the USM! From rehearsals and Masterclasses at the Osher School of Music to our featured performance, “Bach and the Baroque Imagination,” the experience was outstanding. With an audience full of community members, first time attendees, and USM students, the atmosphere at the Crewe Center was truly electric!

Soprano Emily Donato will be among the company of artists in Maine this month.
