Maine Law Federalist Society The Maine Law Federalist Society is the Maine Law's chapter of the national organization.

Some recent events include:

- A debate between between David Boyer of "The Campaign to Regulate Ma*****na Like Alcohol" and Scott Gagnon of "Smart Approaches to Ma*****na" regarding upcoming state and federal bills to legalize ma*****na. - A debate between famous 2nd Amendment advocate John Lott and a representative from Maine Citizens Against Handguns, entitled "Should concealed, permitted handguns be allowed on college campuses?"

- A lecture by Prof. Jon McGinnis of Northwestern Law entitled "Abolish Public Sector Labor Unions Now"

- A debate between Joel Allumbaugh of the conservative Maine Heritage Policy Center and Garrett Martin of the liberal Maine Center for Economic Policy on the merits of LD1333/PL90, the Republican health care reform enacted in Maine in 2011.
