Hiding your conservative values? Even though we may be the minority at Maine Law, use it to your advantage. I have two internships this summer that I was able to get through my conservative contacts. Networking should be one of your top priorities in law school, it's ppssibly the most important skill for future jobs. I'm spending one day a week in the governor's office, got to write a memo to the governor on my first day to join an amicus brief (he approved). Also spending three days in Bath at the DA's office. My supervisor and the DA are conservatives. One of the justices we work with is a solid conservative and worked for the Governor as chief counsel before being appointed as a judge. Time to step out of the closet boys and girls!
