The solution. Which is not at all like the plan... the hole was too small for me to fit the bird back in without force. That probably would have crumpled its body. So I made a nest out of some leftover nest materials from another nest on a piece of paper. Thank you, amazon and I' laid the bird on that nest and tied it up as close as I could to where its siblings are. As I see, the siblings fly away, it may need help to get out of there. I'm hoping I have it close enough to the house to deter the larger predator birds. And hoping that she'll still feed it since it 's right up there, screeching its little head off. Next steps will be googling what to give it if we are going to have to try to save it ourselves, but I have hope that this mama, that I feed every single day will give it her best shot.
