Cherry Park PTA Cherry Park PTA provides support and resources to enhance learning opportunities for our children through family oriented events at Cherry Park Elementary.

Cherry Park Elementary PTA provides:

• The opportunity for every student at Cherry Park to attend a yearly FIELD TRIP at no cost.
• Teachers with ENRICHMENT MONEY for the purchase of additional classroom supplies.
• The WISH LIST program for teachers who need additional funding for items in their classroom.
• SOCIAL EVENTS to connect with the school and community.
• POPCORN FRIDAYS – the first F

riday of every month.
• PTA ART CONTEST, with winners competing at the State level, and possibly the National level. We have two primary fundraisers: our yearly READ-A-THON in the fall, and our JOG-A-THON in the spring. Why Should You Join PTA?
• For the right to VOTE on how PTA money is raised and spent in your school.
• HELPING the PTA is a great way to become familiar with Cherry Park Staff and other parents.
• PTA MEETINGS can help you learn more about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. We look forward to another wonderful year at Cherry Park. Remember you can join the PTA at anytime, it’s $10 to join and every dollar is much appreciated. Thanks!

We hope to see you for our second annual Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day tomorrow. We are meeting at Cherry Park United Methodist Church off 106th behind the school at 8:40. We will share some light refreshments and learn a little about Ruby Bridges. At 8:50 we will walk together as a group to the front of the school building. See you there!
