THANK YOU to Pickleball Nation.
And to our our sponsors - Weston KIA City of Wood Village, OR and Dairy Queen in City of Troutdale. And to our partners, East County Pickleball Courts
We had so much fun and got to spread the gospel of Rotary International here in East County and around the world. When you join our team, you get to meet people, learn and use your leadership skills, and help great organizations like Cultivate Initiatives East County Food Pantry and ShelterBox, which is where our donations are going to.
See you next year on the courts!

Team work makes the dream work!

We got together this week to make food bags and hygiene kits for our neighbors who visit the shower trucks provided to unsheltered people by Cultivate Initiatives.

Fueled by pizza from our president-elect Stefanie Hines, we made quick work with the supplies that will make our neighbors healthier and safer.

Folks in LA are still reeling from the wildfires.

So our club this morning voted to send $750 to ShelterBox USA, which is on the ground helping families displaced by the worst wildfire in California history.

Please consider a gift to ShelterBox USA - or any organization helping our neighbors to the south.

Guess where we had our monthly social?

At Port of Portland offices and the gem they manage - Portland International Airport (PDX) Thanks to Port employee and club member Chris Damgen for hosting us, and giving us a tour of the new airport. The soaring roof made of local Doug fir is a wonder.

We got a great meal at Loyal Legion - the largest airport restaurant in the U.S. - and you don't need to go through security for the burgers and beers. Cheers to flying!
