RePaint the Arleta Triangle Square Tomorrow!

Join your neighbors on Saturday, August 29, starting at 9:00 a.m. to help RePaint Arleta Triangle Square! Pizza will be available for volunteers starting towards noon. It is first-come, first-served, and available only while supplies last.

Please dress appropriately for painting activities; supplies and tools are provided.

We can accommodate people of all abilities and kids are encouraged to participate with their adult supervision.

Donations help fund event permits, performances, crafts, supplies, marketing and more!

The rest of the clothing we have will be washed, sorted and donated to the SUN schools at Arleta Elementary School and Woodmere Elementary , to Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest and to NW Children’s Outreach.

This event is entirely volunteer-run. The MSANA hires the performers, Free Arts NW provided tables and canopies, SE Uplift also provided tables and canopies, and members of our community showed up to set up, run and tear down the whole event two days in a row. That’s right, we’re back in the community center! We meet at 6pm on first Wednesdays (except January) and now we’re in beautiful new Mt. Scott Community Center :) hope to see you there. Second slide has a map to find us in there!

And big thank you to the person who corrected me on the date on the last post — I got too excited and made a mistake saying February 2. Good neighborly feedback ALWAYS APPRECIATED! 💜
