✨By His Stripes, We Are Healed🙌
As I was praying this morning, the Holy Spirit impressed something upon my heart in a clear and specific way about the stripes we experience in life.
Some of our stripes are the shame of our past. Some are the wounds of abuse, shame, anger and pain that continue to hurt, hunt or tantalize us.
Some are the weight of sin that still tries to stain our hearts. Some are the anger that whispers, "I wished it never happened." Some are the repeated struggles that cry out, "Why me?
Other stripes are the ongoing fear of loss, rejection, disappointment, and failure that keep us living in a holding pattern instead of walking out boldly into our God-given destiny.
These stripes become invisible lashes upon our souls. They leave us bound by chains of regret, unforgiveness, guilt, fear, and shame.
They rob us of our peace, hinder our purpose, and keep us from becoming all God created us to be.
Isaiah reminds us of a greater truth:
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities... and with His stripes we are healed." — Isaiah 53:5
The stripes that Jesus endured were greater than the stripes we suffer. His wounds have the power to heal our wounds. His sacrifice breaks every chain. His forgiveness removes our shame. His love restores what was broken. His resurrection gives us the courage to leave the past behind and step confidently into our divine purpose.
Today, surrender every stripe you've carried to the One who carried the cross for you. His healing is not just for your body, it is for your heart, your mind, your soul, and your future.
Take a moment to write down the stripes you are experiencing or encountering and release it today.
🛐Father, thank You that Jesus took the stripes that I deserved so that I could receive the healing I could never earn. Today I surrender every wound, every regret, every fear, every shame, and every chain to You. Heal the places that still hurt. Restore what has been broken. Free me from every bo***ge that keeps me from fulfilling my purpose. Help me walk in the freedom, healing, and victory You have already provided through Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.🙏🏽
