Everyone is invited to attend our second annual celebration of the dark season of the year. Saturday, December 13, 10am-2pm, at the Deering Grange, 1408 Washington Ave, Portland. The event includes: COMMUNITY CAFE: Free hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. $5 lunch of soup and bread OR hot dog and chips
COOKIE WALK FUNDRAISER: Pay to fill a container with homemade cookies! GF & VG options available
RAFFLE & VENDORS: Shop local craftspeople and enter to win raffle prizes
PHOTO BOOTH & ARTS ACTIVITIES: Take home a photo, decorate a luminary & make paper snowflakes
WINTER GEAR COLLECTION: Donate new & lightly used items for neighbors in need

Interested in being a vendor? Rent a table in the main hall for $10. Free to middle and high school students.

Please join us on this Saturday, Nov 15th 9:30 am-12:30pm for a community work day to begin building the Allen’s Corner Pocket Park - on the triangle of land near Lib’s.

Bring your gloves and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Join for an hour or the whole time.

We’re opening the street for people to play and socialize.
Saturday October 18, 11am-3pm (Rain date Sunday October 19).
A free event!
- Bring a potluck dish to share!
- Apple cider-making (bring apples)
- Kids activities including face-painting, chalk art, hula hoops, and pickleball
- Live music
- Bring books and puzzles to swap
